Fab Artist: Mark Ryden

Mark Ryden has been around for quite some time but I can't have a blog even remotely about art without doing a post on him. I have loved his art since high school. His cartoon-like imagery is mysterious, whimsical, and thought-provoking. He can make a wide-eyed, bleach blonde, little girl, wearing a dress made of meat look ethereal and beautiful. He has a fabulous imagination and an odd obsession with Abe Lincoln. I would love to see one of his gallery exhibits someday!
